Dr Charles Cope, a Specialist Plastic Surgeon, is renowned for his ethical approach to patient care as well as his high surgical standards. Along with being a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Dr Cope is also a member of ASPS and ASAPS.

With his accreditation from the Australian Medical Council, he is one of the few surgeons who can perform both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. Since he first started practicing over 20 years ago, he has performed over 18,000 procedures. This includes facial rejuvenation, breast surgery and body contouring.

Dr Cope is the founder of Infinity Skin Clinic and the Head of Plastic Surgery at Castlecrag Private Hospital.

Educational & Career Background

In 1989, Dr Charles Cope graduated with Honours in Medicine at the University of Sydney before he started his training in general surgery.

Soon thereafter, his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery training commenced, leading to a RACS Fellowship in 1999. His training included Aesthetic Fellowship training, a Hand Surgery Fellowship and a Microsurgery Fellowship.

Lastly, Dr Cope undertook further specialised training, including Cosmetic and Breast Surgery Fellowships in Australia and the USA.

Since the beginning of his career, Dr Cope has been published in over 25 publications and is a regular speaker at international and local meetings. His ongoing participation in seminars highlights his expertise and commitment to the best standards in surgical care. Dr Cope is also committed to furthering his knowledge and education. He regularly travels to the USA and Europe to learn from other renowned surgeons.
